Wheels and Tyres

Having experienced random loose tyres on models in the past our single largest demand on our Vendor was addressing this issue in their new factory. Having moulded some 80,000 wheel centres in the past the percentage of failures was very low but accounted for almost all our customer complaints. We have now adopted best practice of moulding the wheel centre within the tyre. The machined rebate on the inside of the tyre providing a positive lock, see left.
